There are terrific Asian markets in Minnesota. When we visited the Twin Cities in May (2001) there was an excellent selection of excellent produce – the one ingredient that we could not find in was holy basil. In general there was even a better selection of Kasma's preferred brands than we have locally. So if you live in the Twin Cities you have no excuse for not finding the ingredients!

We ate excellent pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) at Quang Restaurant, at 2719 Nicollet Ave. S. Our favorite was the pig hock and beef soup.
